Mommy2preciouskids
What is the best wax to start out with? I looked at the website(s) and there are SOOO many to pick from, Beeswax, etc. How much lbs should you buy?
SatinDucky
That all depends on what kind of candles you want to make. Your first decision is the type of wax.. beeswax, palm, soy or paraffin. That is purely up to you and what you want. Read up on them. When you decide which catergory, then you look at the type of candles you want to make. Pick a couple different slabs of wax for that kind of candle, ie. container wax, pillar wax etc. Different kinds of wax can come on different forms. Everyone has different opinions on every wax. In the end, you'll have to decide for yourself. We can guide you some, but you have to decide where to start...
Pam W
Just an FYI: I wouldn't recommend a Newbie start with Beeswax. Had my 1st candle been BW, it most like would have been my last
