2rottndogs
I have some paraffin, but the tag on the slab is so faded that I'm not absolutely sure what it says. I THINK is says "wax 1440". Has anyone heard of that? I can't seem to find anything when I do a search here.Kim
topofmurrayhill
Any idea where it came from or how old it is?There's an IGI paraffin 1240. Aztec is the only supplier I know who carries it.
2rottndogs
Top, that wax was left over from when I did candles 5 or 6 years ago. I happened to find in storage. I don't remember where I even bought it.If I can't figure out what it is... should I get rid of it or can it be used for anything?Kim
topofmurrayhill
I'm sure you can use it; the problem is figuring out what it's good for. If it's plain paraffin, the melt point would be moocho helpful. It should be possible to figure it out (ballpark) if you have no recollection at all, but kind of a pain in the butt.
