bthouse
I have a couple of slabs of M&P ultra clear that I bought about a year ago from NG and never used. They are still in the original wrapping but the edges have changed color.Would this still be good to use....does it go "off"......?Kathy
Candybee
The clear M&P tends to discolor to yellow or amber as it gets old. It should be okay to use thou. If you have liquid glycerin, coconut oil, or olive oil you can add a little to make it more moisturizing. If its already amber colored why not add honey to it to make it a rich amber colored honey soap. It will be good for softening your skin. Add a bit of glycerin too and honey FO and you have honey soap.
Rebecca
I would just do as Candybee suggested and use an ingredient or color that would go with the yellowing of the base. It's fine to use.
sunnii
I try to use up my M&P soap bases within the year, or year and half at the latest.
