Use a stick blender (also called an immersion blender).I sometimes use an old 7.00 mixer to make soap.One beater, on low, never splatters. It's one of my favorite tools for soaping~ I prefer it over the stickblender for finicky fragrances. You've probably got a few soaps from this method in swaps from me.
