  1. Hi Donna, Yes I had everything at room temp. Yeah it might have been the FO. Maybe next time I should use EO instead. Thanks for the clairification on the measuring system. It did not even dawn on me.
  2. Ok, Here goes. I used Nizzy's receipe, so I waied the lye and water accordinly to what it has listed. First thing, was the entire receipe in grams?, Palm Oil 400 Coconut Oil 100 Canola Oil 110 Castor Oil 40 Caustic Soda 95g Water 244g So then I got confused and used this one in ounces. I ran it through Bramble berrys lye calculator and got Lye:3.67 and water:8.74 and used a blackberry scent. Oh boy did it seize on me. It turned out horrible. Can someone tell me what I did wrong? Whipped Recipe 1 Palm Oil 17.5 ozs Coconut Oil 3.5 ozs Canola Oil 4 ozs Castor Oil 1.5 ozs Caustic/Lye 3.8ozs Water 10 ozs
  3. Hi All, I am leaning towards making whipped soap. Are there any soapers out there that have made the whipped soap. If can you please share your photos. And how was the process for you.
  4. Hi Everyone, Which is the best one to use. Should a mixer with a stand be used for the cp process and is it safe to use with the whipped process.
  5. Hello, Being new to the board, how does one join the soap swap?
  6. Very beautiful. Can i ask what colors she used in both of the soaps.
  7. Hi Everyone, How does one join one of the soap swaps?
  8. Ok, So this weekend i used the Royal icing for my soap bath fizzy cupcakes. My problem is, what kind of wilton tip do I use to apply the frosting. I used a #28 tip and it did not look right at all. What does everyone else use to apply their frosting.
  9. Hi Scented, Yes it was a MP base. I will be trying the CP this weekend.
  10. Hi Scented, Yep I used a white glycerin base and a little red with a little bit of strawberry oil and got the pink. Aw man I hope it was pink. It looked pink. I swear. I'll post a picture later to show.
  11. Yes I agree those look great. I have not tried the cp yet. How did you get the orange on the bottom?
  12. Hello, I was wondering if silicone molds are ok to use for melt and pour soaps. I have seen a lot of them and just wanted to know people's experience with them.
  13. Hello, I have stated making soap using the melt and pour. Now I want to try something different. Which is easier, hot or cold pres soap. Also is it easy to layer the soap?
  14. Thanks, Everyone for the input. I had a red Mica cellini I believe and mixed it with a white base and the pink I wanted turned out. I made the neoplitian that I was wanting, but it was the Melt and pour process. I will be trying either the hot or cold press soap soon. I am just trying to figure out which one is easier. Thanks again
  15. Hello, I was wondering if anyone had any ideas on how to make a neopolitan soap. And what color pink would they use. Please help
