hellen
Hi guys,What % of sodium lactate should I use? Also, I add it to the lye mixture... is that correct? If so, do I mix it in with the water and after it is mixed thoroughly then start adding the lye?Made a lot of soap but never used sodium lactate before. Also I saw PKO in anther thread ...what is that an acronym for?Cheers,Hells
Scented
PKO is palm kernel oil ... comes in flakes and solid. When I use sodium lactate I go about .25 oz per pound of oils. I used to do it at .5, but have decided to lower it. Scroll all the way down on this and you'll see some other threads related to sodium lactate that may help you some more
