ok need help w/floating candles

i tried 2 do a search for floating canldes, but i can't seem 2 get the page 2 come up. i tried making floaters but they just burn straight down and go out cause water gets in them. i've used a hurricane/soy blend 50/50 with a wick for a 1.5-2 inch candle but i can't get them 2 burn outward, should i use a bigger wick or should i make the wax more of a 75/25 blend & make it harder. not quite sure what 2 do, any help would be appreciated.

Are you making sure your wick is covered on the bottom of the candle. It needs to be covered in wax or the water will just draw up your wick and put the candle out.
