Need Help with CDN wicks please

Recommended Posts

I've always used RRD's and Cottons because of the centered burn. I don't mind the mushrooms. They were easier to deal with than the off centered burn of CD's. Now here comes the "but"...I found some really neat glasses locally that are 3 and 1/4" wide at the top with a very gradual slope to maybe 2 and 7/8" at the bottom. The largest size RRD and Cotton just isn't cutting it. I want to try the CDN's again but can't remember if they bend towards the upwards V or downwards. If anyone has any tricks of the trade on how you place them please share it with me. Should I off-set it in the glass or just center it. I don't know why those V's stress me out so much but that's why I quit using them. Besides, I can't afford therapy over wick placement. lol

TIA
