Arlene
I've always used RRD's and Cottons because of the centered burn. I don't mind the mushrooms. They were easier to deal with than the off centered burn of CD's. Now here comes the "but"...I found some really neat glasses locally that are 3 and 1/4" wide at the top with a very gradual slope to maybe 2 and 7/8" at the bottom. The largest size RRD and Cotton just isn't cutting it. I want to try the CDN's again but can't remember if they bend towards the upwards V or downwards. If anyone has any tricks of the trade on how you place them please share it with me. Should I off-set it in the glass or just center it. I don't know why those V's stress me out so much but that's why I quit using them. Besides, I can't afford therapy over wick placement. lolTIA
Stella1952
You could twist the wick after securing it to the bottom of the container. HTH

grama
Took me forever to figure that one out but finally did. I double wick and put the upward v to the outside. hth
