vanessa
I been trying to wick the 8 oz smooth JJ. 1ozpp of fo. My problem is the soot. I know my customers do marathon burnings. I have tried the 44z,51z,60z they seem to have soot. it is after the jar is 3/4 gone and after burning longer than 6 hrsthe 44 isnt bad, if they trimmed the wick properly it would be okay. just wondering what others use? anpross
I use 4630 and have the same problem with the sooting when it comes to marathon burns. I'm by no means an expert just making some candles for mom, grandma, etc. for Christmas. I'm going to try the HTP line next because of the mushrooming and am hoping that will help with sooting. I hope someone with more experience chimes in. But it does seem like we are using the most unpopular wax out there
topofmurrayhill
Have you considered trying a different type of wick?
