Crying Moon
I have a logo, but need to make the background invisible. Anyone know of a free program that can do this? Thanks
BubbleBath
If you have MicroSoft Office Professional edition, it comes with a program called Photo Editor. If you open the image in this program, there is an icon for creating transparency.
Crying Moon
Thanks BubbleBath!!!I found it. I'm guessing I was able to do it. It made the background a checkerboard pattern (transparent). I'll fiddle around with it, and make sure I can paste it in something and not have the white background. Allicia
I did mine in Photoshop, but it's not a user-friendly program for me ... so there's a day of my life I'll never get back!!Susan.photoshop is alot more user friendly than it used to be. it is expensive though so most people dont buy it unless they feel it is user friendly. I know they offer the free trial but i really never understodd why. It surely isnt point and click or for the beginner. I used to use a program called mgm photosuite or something it was sorta like a user friendly photoshop. Knowhere near the power but point and click. TxSioux
Mine came pre-loaded when I got this laptop 2 yrs ago -- it says Photoshop Elements 2.0, so I'm SURE it's a very basic (& probably antiquated) version. Working on my logo was the most time consuming & complicated thing I've ever done w/ Photoshop. It's a very expensive program & certainly not worth the money for my basic needs!Susan.
