pjm
This doesn't make sense to me. I made two 8oz jar candles. Same wax, same wick. However, for some reason, the flame on one gets way larger than the flame on the other. The only difference between the two is the scent. I put them both in separate bedrooms to test them. Can the scent have an effect on the flame? Paula
topofmurrayhill
Yes it can have a big effect. You have to test each FO for wicking.
Alohagirl
You betcha. For me, "heavy" scents are harder to wick.
tlc26
Anything you put in the wax will/can/may/does change the burn. Candle making is full of variables, you just have to test to find what work best together.
