GrandmaArial Posted November 15, 2007 Share Posted November 15, 2007 I never use palm oil and I like my soap. Some people use lard as it is similar in characteristics as palm oil. I personally don’t like it. Just work out a balance of oils for the characteristics you want. Be sure to run it through a reliable lye calculator.
