Pam W
Do you have to add mottling oil to this wax to get a good mottle effect? I'm assuming NO since it is a mottle wax but Peak's website says Add mineral oil to create a mottled effect - so I'm a little confused. Scented
It's not that different than 1343 Pam, just guaranteed to mottle as far as I'm concerned.
Pam W
That's what I'm looking for - the guaranteed mottle. I've been using the GL M20 mottle wax and I do get nice pillars but I'm have a hard time with seepage. Tested a new addiditve made for mottle wax and it did help some, but at 5% there's still just too much seepage. I opened one up that I had shrink wrapped about 3 wks ago and there was FO between the candle and the wrap - the wrap was rubbery and totally coated with oil and I always let the candles set for a few days before I wrap them. I have 3 cases of pillars made for a Xmas order that I have to unwrap, let dry some more then rewrap.
