Tea Posted November 11, 2007 Posted November 11, 2007 Hi Everyone, to work out the capacity of a mould, it is width x length x height? Is that right? So if it works out to be say 144in, then it will be 144 oz of oil?Could some please let me know if this is right.Tracey Quote
jzastoupil Posted November 12, 2007 Posted November 12, 2007 take that # and multiply by .4 to find out the amount of oils. The 144 you figured out is total batch weight...including water, lye, additives. Quote
CareBear Posted November 12, 2007 Posted November 12, 2007 yep, so if the volume of your mold (L X W X H) is 144, then take your 144 X 0.40 = 57.6 ounces by weight of oils (3.6 lbs). Quote
Tea Posted November 12, 2007 Author Posted November 12, 2007 Thankyou very much for that. That is very helpful.Tracey Quote
