Mountain_Annie
How does Peaks BUTTERMINT CANDIES compare to The Candlesource's Buttermint candies? Which is best, strongest, sweetest? I need a sweet, candy peppermint more than a straight peppermint stick. Is there perhaps a better one than those two? Thanks much!Mt Annie
soshiegirl
Mt. Annie,The best buttermint candy scent I've ever smelled comes from Aroma Haven. It smells just like the pastel mint candy. If you want a great Candy Cane scent, give Candy Cane from SNC (now carried at Aroma Haven) a try. It's delicious. One more thing, if you want straight peppermint, give JS Snowflake a try. No candy or sugar smells just straight peppermint.Good luck!

Candlebuddy
I tested the Buttermint from The Candle Source, and it had a weak scent throw in my 50/50 soy blend (8% with a 4 day cure).
Mountain_Annie
Thanks much for the reply. I'll search for another, stronger one. Hopefully someone will post a really good one here. (Crossing my fingers) Mt Annie
RWV
Don't know if this is what you're looking for, but Jack Frost from BNL (through Bittercreek) is a nice peppermint with a smooth vanilla background that sweetens it nicely. It throws well, too. HTH
