fireheart99
Does anyone use a different type of container other than the aluminum pots that are sold in every craft store and online candle supply site? I use these as well, but find that the spout (or lip I should say) isn't big enough and that the wax drips down the pot iteself as I pour. Very messy. Any tips, tricks, or different container suggestions?
CathyinME
I don't use the pouring pots, I use the pan I heat it in. Works for me:pSome people heat the gel & then pour it into glass measuring cups & pour from there.
Luci
I bought a set of glass pots at the Salvation Army to use for gel. Two of them have pour spouts, so I usually just use the pot. Sometimes I do pour my gel into a glass measuring cup, though. Just depends on the project.
CrystalClear
I use a combo of the aluminum pouring pots and glass measuring cups.
Cc Candle Supply
Old old pyrex coffe pots work great. The smothness of glass allow for easy cleanup. Used the aluminum ots but the gel would always stick to the pot.
