I have been trying to make candles for about 8 months and I use Calsoy cb3.. I am trying to wick a 3.25" 9 oz bean pot. Wow it's a real bugger. jennhalcyon Posted October 19, 2007 Share Posted October 19, 2007 Well, I used this a long time ago and not with soy, but I think it was a CD16 that worked best. Maybe try that, and give it a chance to catch up (you can't wick for a full melt pool at the top or you will have one whopper of a flame at the bottom and glass so hot you can't touch it). Good luck!
