cracked look for votives

Hi all,

I want to make my votives look cracked. Does anyone know how this is done? I think it has to do with the temp and then a big cool down somehow..dunno if in the freezer(treid that) or cold water bath, etc? I have looked for directions and cannot find them anywhere.

I make the chunky votives already but wanted a different look and I saw those somewhere and loved them on pillars, but surely you can do them for votives as it is the same type wax.

Any help would be appreciated!!

Basically it's shocking the wax. You can look up crackle candles on here. I think Eugenia has some pillars still posted. Try the method you find and see if it works.
