nikkidan
My sil and I are just considering getting started making soy candles. Our husbands farm together and they grow soybeans, so we figure soy candles (and b& would be very appropriate for us. We have ordered a kit, and now just need to find a day to try to make the candles. Anyone have any good book reccommendations for soy candles and b & b for a beginner? Thanks! diamondgirl_26
when I first started making candles, I bought two books. Now they are on my book shelf collecting dust. Save you money and just read this site as often as possible. I got the most knowledge from just reading this site. Save your money for more supplies. seattle70
I got from the library:Candlemaking for Fun and Profit - M. EspinoThe Candlemaker's Companion - B. OppenheimerI am new as well. The books were a great addition to the forum. The other writer is right, the forum is your best spot for up to date info on active candle makers. But I have had use out of hte books and they are really easy to refer and read. Worth getting from your library.
