becky0404
I asked a supplier to give me an approximate shipping cost and this is what was written:UPS cost for a single carton is approximately $17.19. Four cartons equals'hundred-weight' service and is discounted. The FedEx rate is marginallybetter. In addition all orders shipped via parcel services will include $15Shipping / Handling cost . We ship within three days from receipt of anorder. I understand it, all but what I put in bold. So, does that mean I pay $17.19 PLUS a $15 shipping and handling fee? If so, that's crazy. What do you think, is that what it means?
cowgirl
If it was me I would call and ask them to explain what it means. That way you know exactly what is going on with no surprises in the end.
cybersix
to me it's pretty clear.Anyway give a call!
becky0404
Ok, I'll call them. I've never heard of a company having two seperate fees for shipping is why I questioned it. I didn't want to seem like an idiot when I called, if this is common practice to have two shipping charges is all. I planned on calling to ask, I just wanted to see what others said before I did. Thanks, I'll call them now to find out.
nmhoneybear
I wouldn't order from them if they have an additional $15 fee tacked on. Wow! That is outrageous!
Vicky_CO
Sounds to me like they do not have postal pick up so have to go to the post office to drop off which is an addition expense like gas and to pay someone to go to the post office. I would not pay it either
Jeannie
That's steep! Most suppliers don't do that I would find another one.
Darbla
Because they said "in addition", it sounds like that $15 is extra tacked onto the $17.19, making it $32.19 total. What supplier is this?
Debra Phelps
Who is this, that don't sound right.

becky0404
Ok, I found out that yes it is in addition to the shipping charges and they add it on to every order regardless of how much you buy. So, it will be an additional $15 if I buy one case or 20 cases. $32 to ship to me is too expensive, guess I won't be trying that wax:sad2: . It's S&P. I like their wax, but not for that much!
