Tasha
When filling clamshells: do you fill all the way to the top so that there is a full solid covering? or do you fill each spot of the mold individually? I purchased clamshell melts before and had a hard time getting them out because i felt they were over poured. I had to cut them out with a knife. Is there a mold release that can be sprayed to the empty shell so that the release of the melt is easier?
waxwench
I always pour to a solid covering. I've never had a problem getting them out.I kind of twist the clamshell so they break apart and pop em out!
jennhalcyon
I pour it full as well, and I don't have any problems getting them out. Maybe it is the wax? Are you adding in some container wax? That may be making it too soft. Just a thought.
