Seaglass Candle Posted September 20, 2007 Share Posted September 20, 2007 So, it looks like I'm stuck w/ an 8oz bottle of Verbena Berry that smells like Pledge on steroids to me! Because I hate to waste anything, I am trying to figure out what I could blend this with in soy and not barf! I have straight blueberry, but would hate to waste that too if the combo stunk. carol k Posted September 20, 2007 Share Posted September 20, 2007 why don't you do the q-tip trick & see what you come up with.get some glass jars stick a q-tip in each fo & put it in the jar, seal up, let sit 4-24hrs & then smell that will give you an idea how it will smell in a candle & you would only use a q-tips worth of fo. each q-tip = a part so if you use 1oz of oil then 1/2 would be = to 1/2oz. of each oil.
