momtohaley2004
UPDATE: I tried rubbing alcohol, mr. clean magic eraser, WD-40, bleach and tuff stuff and well.......NO LUCK!!! I've heard that lighter fluid or comet may take it off, but wouldn't that hurt the linoleum. Anyone know?
chauntelle
Have you tried nail varnish remover? Soak some cotton wool or an old cloth in some then hold over the area for a few mins wipe over and hopefully it will have worked. Ive used it on permanent marker that me little one got over the wall and up the paint work it worked a treat hth
Scented
If anything works, I'll be surprised. I have a more colorful linoleum floor now and have gone through everything, except the varnish. Don't know that I'll try it either, since some of these stains are years old.
OH Cathy
Quite a few years ago I was shaking a bottle of blue dye in my kitchen and the top was not on tight, it went every where. I called Steve at www.thecandlemakersstore.com and he sent me something out and I had it the next day. It was some sort of a very strong orange cleaner maybe a solvent...I wet a paper towell with it and the next day the stains were gone.Maybe goo gone would help or a strong orange cleaner. Kimmi
Have you tried to use FO? I have used just a little FO on my counters when I get dye on them. Put a little on a paper towel and rub. HTH!Kimmi:D
Beth-VT
I'm with the FO. I have solid white formica countertops in my kitchen and I've had plenty of dye on it. Yet to leave a stain. FO takes it out, DiSolve it (from walMart) takes it out too.
