KarenOH
I am switching from CD's to CDN's and am in the process of re-testing all my FO's. Has anyone who made the switch have to go down or possibly up with the CDN's from the CD's they were used to using? The info I received from one supplier sounds like I could go down 1 size, just curious if anyone has found this to be true.I am using GB415, 8 oz jj and 8% FO...I am starting with the CDN12.Thanks! mptex
When I switched, I went down...I use a soy blend...sometimes, I was able to go down 2 sizes, but most of the time just one size...I love the CDNs and get mine from Candle Cocoon...HTH! topofmurrayhill
I don't know about 415 but it will depend totally on how your candle mixture (wax and FO mainly) was affecting the wick in the first place. All wicks are chemically treated. CDN is exactly the same wick as CD with a different treatment from the manufacturer. In some cases you may notice no difference at all. 8-GRAN-ONES
hey karen,,what makes you want to change the types of wicks? I tried the cdn wicks.. maybe I did'nt test them long enough but I didn't like them as well as the cd wicks..let us know your evaluations on what you think of them..
