Candle Makin Momma Posted July 27, 2007 Share Posted July 27, 2007 i have no idea what it's called, but I will be using a wick pin in a pillar mold and want to put something aroung the pin so it doesn't leak.What is this called? I also use it for leveling a wick pin that isn't exactly straight - I put a bigger hunk on one side of the pin base & press down on whichever side is off level. Georgia Posted July 28, 2007 Share Posted July 28, 2007 Sticky-Tac used to hold posters on walls works fabulous, too. I've been using it for years. I've heard that sometimes plumbers putty can react with the mold or the pin and turn black which can get in your candles. I've never tried it, but just throwing my heresay out there.
