Munch
Can I use my Ecosoya Pure Container Wax to pour Wax Tarts or Wax Melts? Or is it too soft?

KandleKim
I use only EcoSoya PB for my melts. I am not sure that the CB would do so well. HTH

Tracy K
I use the Ecosoya Pure for my tarts/melts. It works just fine. Now I do add just a little beeswax (about an 1/8 oz. per pound of soy), and they come out of my silicone molds just fine. Hope that helps ya! Munch
Thanks Tracy. Every bit of knowledge helps
Stella1952
Container wax makes a softer tart, but it works. If you want them to be firmer, add either beeswax or stearic acid or Universal Soy Additive to raise the melting point and make them a little harder. kandlekrazy
If you're living where it's hot and humid you will probably find the CB too soft. Even if it comes out of the molds, it will smear on packaging...unless you add something into it to harden it a bit. I've tried it and even after curing, it still smeared the bags up. I guess if you wrapped each tart in something first, it might work out ok.
Munch
Sunny Florida then yes...the heat and humidity is the surefire thing to muck up these tarts. I'll try the beeswax addition and the packaging question did cross my mind how I was going to keep them from smudging. What could I wrap them in first so they can still see the product? Any good ideas for pkging to keep them looking good anyone?
chele57
I have been using Ecosoya CB for tarts. The CB is softer than PB, but not too much of a problem. Had no complaints from customers.
Judy, USMC
I usually make the clamshells. 75% Ecosoya CB-135 and 25% Ecosoya PB.
