newhobby
Hello,I just got my order from Peaks and I purchased alot of goodies. I will be using some of the wick pins for my pillars. Quick question, do you just drop them inside the mold or push it in from the bottom?Vickie/Chicago
Georgia
Like everything else, it's a preference. They can go either way. If your molds are flat top you will have to go in from the outside. I use a glob of sticky-tak (used to hold posters on walls) on the bottom of the pins and rest my molds in a plastic tub of rice. I like the sticky-tak better than mold sealer and it's cheaper! If your molds are concave top, either way works.good luck!
Deb
Not to highjack this post, but thank you Georgia! I've been trying to figure out what I could use instead of mold sealer!!
newhobby
Thanks for your response. Well, I made the palm pillar and it came out lovely! I wish I had a digital camera to show it off.Vickie
