MBShafeena
How much scent (FO or EO) do you use for 2lbs or 4lbs or 8lbs of soap? I am finding that my soaps are not holding their scent as much as I would like. Do any of you use orris root powder to anchor your scents? CareBear
What kind of soap? I do CP and use 0.7 - 1.0 oz of FO ppo. Some FOs really don't hold.Never used orris root powder - would it make the soap scratchy?
Crafty1_AJ
I use anywhere from .5 oz. ppo to 1 oz. ppo of fragrance. Most of the time, it's 1 oz. per pound of oils. I go lighter on peppermint eo, though, for example. No sense in frying everyone's delicate skin. lol
Scent Cellar
The norm for adding f/o is .7 - 1 oz per pound of oils. You might try adding a bit of clay to anchor the f/o's in your soap.
