ah-soy Posted July 5, 2007 Posted July 5, 2007 Does anyone know of a good and free site that predicts or posts fragrance trends? I know there are organizations you can join that cost major bucks and reports you can purchase (also major bucks) but I've yet to find a good free source. Quote
TartAddict Posted July 5, 2007 Posted July 5, 2007 Not sure this is what you're looking for, but this is a great reference if you're trying to decide what fragrances are good for what seasons. http://www.candlebusinesscorner.com/candlescentsforseasons.htmHTH D Quote
RobinInOR Posted July 5, 2007 Posted July 5, 2007 Happi.com has fragrance trend articles from time to time. It spans everything from perfumes to household cleansers and candles. For example, in Janhttp://happi.com/articles/2007/01/clean-excitement.php Quote
soycool Posted July 5, 2007 Posted July 5, 2007 Hi,Genwax.com posts fragrance trends. I have found this subject to be interesting. Ever since I heard Martha Stewart say "dont follow trends start them" I brainstorm a lot.Natalie Quote

Scented Posted July 6, 2007 Posted July 6, 2007 don't know of any. ng's newsletter says nectarine is the hot scent for this year.Honeysuckle is sneaking in on spring/summer body stuff ... explains why my soap is all gone and I think peeps are crazy lol.Read that about nectarine. Also saw that they're still not able to add much till they're in their building. Quote
Candlebuddy Posted July 7, 2007 Posted July 7, 2007 For me, I take a trip to the mall. I check out the stores that sell designer scents, Yank** and BBW ... I just ask the sales girls what's flying off the shelves and what scents are they getting in for the next season. Quote
Violetsexoticcandles Posted July 7, 2007 Posted July 7, 2007 I do that too, even in wally world, because a lot of people do buy the candles there, too... (I used to when I couldn't afford higher prices). This is a good question. I wish someone would do a study. What I've done in the past is ask people on here what they have sold well in the past. I had so many suggestions I really had to narrow it down, though. Quote
