FO not mixing with DPG

I am just starting out making scented oils and I have mixed 5 scents so far and of these 5, Sandalwood does not mix with the DPG. Do you think that I will still be able to offer the Sandalwood if the instructions are to shake well before each use? Alot of people ask for Sandalwood.

Also, not being very familiar with the refresher oils just yet. Is there a site that has alot of info on these?

Like, what are some uses.

- Light bulb rings

- Oil Burners

- Refresh Potpourri

Anything else?

Also, what's the point to adding water to oil for the oil burner?

I learned the hard way that the oil will get so hot it will start to spatter everywhere.

I have never heard of or had a problem with an FO mixing with DPG. That's a weird problem, wish I could help! Maybe the FO you were trying is water based?

Also, water keeps the FO below its flash point, usually noted when the FO begins to smoke. A FO at its flash point means that a flame will ignite it, as in fire. hth

CSAS - you jinxed me! Today I poured my first FO that didn't mix with DPG! Grr! If anyone is curious it was "Country Sunshine" from Bitter Creek South... at least I only spent .99 on this FO!
