cbv1
I am confused with the 'icing'. Is this real icing made of sugar? And it dissolves in the bath water?
SoapDiva
Its a royal icing, and yep, it dissolves.

Jooniper
Those are adorable. What is royal icing?3 Tablespoons Wilton Meringue Powder 1 lb. (4 cups) confectioners' sugar (about 1lb.) 6 Tablespoons warm water* Beat all ingredients until icing forms peaks (7-10 minutes at low speed with a heavy-duty mixer, 10-12 minutes at high speed with a hand-held mixer). Recipe makes 3 cups.I wondered if you could use the foaming bath butter as an icing.

SoapDiva
I wondered if you could use the foaming bath butter as an icing. That is an awesome idea! I wanted to add a bit of functionality to the "icing" and that is brilliant! I wonder too, if I could cut the icing sugar with a bit more baking soda to add more skin softening properties to it? spatreats4u
you can add FBB however it wont be hard...so if thats ok with you - perhaps not shipping it then great idea.

natures bodyworks
i have made these using whipped M&P for the icing, looks WONDERFUL to start off with, but doesn't stick to the bath bomb, and it pulls the color from the Bath bomb, and if you put any scent in the m&p at all it discolors the icing...horrible in shipping as well...hth
suzanneg
ewwwwwwwww sorry I can't see putting real icing in my bath water!!!!! oh yucky and sticky!!!! But the pics look great!
