MasterBaker2
Can you use Dendritic Salt to make them? I've got a big bucket of it I want to use up and figured this would be a good way. TIA

jbren
I've not seen anything about it being used by itself. Anything I've ever read about dendritic salt, it has been used in conjunction with other salts for holding fragrance. i.e. Snowdrift recommends 1 cup dentritic to 10-20 cups of other salt. dirtybirdsoaps
All that I DO know is that you CAN NOT use dead sea salt in these. I love making these bars, and one day I ran out of my sea salt and tried adding dead sea salt for the other half and was crushed to realize I had to pitch the entire batch. When I asked for help on here, I was told a GREAT point that I never thought of. The properties of dead sea salt and sea salt are VERY different and react differently.
