HelenW Posted May 22, 2007 Share Posted May 22, 2007 After doing a bit of research on Castile Soaps I noticed that Olive Oil (Pomace) or Olive Oil is generally used to make the soaps. Would I run into any problems if I were to use EVOO? Yes, I puchased 8 - 750 ml bottles of EVOO before asking the question.Would using EVOO change the lye/water ratio?I will be adding Castor Oil and Babassu Oil (as soon as I place my order and receive them) :rolleyes2 to the recipe.
