dcroome2005
:lipsrseal Anyone else get a letter in the mail with some ground up something or another from a representative for Mia Belle? I received a letter stating I could join them for under $ 50. I am waiting on a call back from this Irene person because I want to know how she got my address and why would she be sending another candle maker this crap? The letter is plain and horrible.. And sending a sample smell thing of crumbled up wax or whatever you call it is inside a small zip lock baggie and just says Chili Vanilla. No directions, no " what this is" nothing.. Hmmm

beesweet
I got a folded postcard type thing with that wax crap in it several months ago. Didn't even bother to look at who sent it as I sent it straight to file 13.

KristineG
I had a rep approach me at a farmers market and give me one of those business cards with the baggie of wax. I asked her what I was supposed to do with it. She said it was a sample. I asked "a sample of what"? She said, the wax and fragrance they use. She explained that there was no way she could walk around with a bag of candles to pass out. I then handed her a sample tealight and my card. Still don't know what I was supposed to do with it. But, I figure you're supposed to put it in a burner/melter even though there are no directions or warnings with this baggie. I tossed it. Why would they train their reps this way? Seemed tacky to me. debscent
My Mia Bella experience was a bit different. I was at an outdoor craft fair (very small) and a man walked past and said, "Oh you do candles...I sell Mia Bella." I said, "Oh, that's nice" and his daughter was opening up my tins & jars and told her dad "These smell better than yours." He walked away quickly. It gave me a chuckle.
