Jami Posted May 9, 2007 Share Posted May 9, 2007 I know that Pink Sugar FO will turn a soap base brown but does it affect shower gel or body butter? I have some suspension base shower gel from soaper supplies and whipped body frosting from essentials by catalina. 3bees~1flower Posted May 9, 2007 Share Posted May 9, 2007 the only thing i make that it discolors is soap...lotion, creams, ect are fine...i have never used it in a shower gel...is this a KOH gel or a surfactant gel? i have used it in my liquid soap and it will turn that darker. Jami Posted May 10, 2007 Author Share Posted May 10, 2007 Well I STARTED to mix up a bottle just for a tester and my hands were slick from testing the body butter. You can imagine what happened next........Yup, my kitchen had a nice bath. I have never seen so many tiny bubbles every where and the more I wiped, the more bubbles I got I did manage to salvage enough to pour in a tester so I will see if it discolors lol.
