misssherrie
I have been playing with M&P I tried Peaks Shea Butter and gave it to some friends to test and the biggest request was more suds. I added nothing but FO and color. What can I add to make it more sudsy?
Luci
How much fo did you add? I use the sfic shea butter and don't have a problem with lather at .5 oz pp.
misssherrie
I added .5 oz pp of Peaks Macintosh Apple. Smelled great! What would happen if I added glycerin?
beau's mama
You can try 1 TBS of Castor oil & 1 TBS of Liquid handmade soap pp of base. I use all the SFIC bases & this is what I always add.I'm not sure if the glycerin will help w/ the suds. You can also try adding a little shaving base or LS white.HTHSharon
prairieannie
The glycerin will help!! A LOT! It's like adding liquid soap!
beau's mama
The glycerin will help!! A LOT! It's like adding liquid soap! Really? Never tried it specifically for lather. Can't too much glycerin be drying?
prairieannie
I imagine it could. But with the butters and other stuff in it... well, you know the drill.
macnmyer
You could also add a bit of shaving soap base. That will help.
