chrisasst
Is there anything I can add to wax to increase the melt point? I did a experiment today by leaving a candle in my car, I guess it was directly in the sun at one point and it melted some(which I can't believe it did melt) ...So is there anything I can add to increase the melt point.. one of the additives or what? SatinDucky
It seems like Gloss Poly was mentioned a while back that may make the wax harder, which should increase the melt point slightly. You may try doing a search on that. It is highly unlikely you'll be able to make your candles hard enough to not melt in a hot car, but still burn nice and keep a good scent throw. chrisasst
ok...actually I am not looking to burn the wax in question...I am looking to get a very good cold throw...
Cetacea
Stearine will increase your melt point. Use 1-3 Tbl/lb of wax.
