Candlechem color blocks

I am looking at switching to the Candlechem color blocks since I can't be sure that the chips will be available for me in the future.

Any opinions on them?

While I am not SURE, I think these blocks are made by J&E Polish company - the only reason I say this is that the color names are identical. I ordered from J&E and then checked out Candlechem and noticed the names - they are the same. Are they? I really don't have any proof but I think it is very possible. Because J&E sells by the pound and Candlechem by the block I am unsure how the prices compare.

I am currently testing the J&E colors and will happily post when I have some results.

I ended up stocking up on their chips. At least that buys me some time, so that when I run out of them, someone else might be manufacturing them by then. If not, it would at least give me more time to test some other type of coloring system, be it the blocks or the liquid dyes.

I was going to stock up on chips, but have wanted to change anyways. I hate the sediment from the chips, and no matter what I do I still get it.

The blocks seemed like a good deal, since I am too clumsy to deal with liquid dye

I'm sure the blocks are either the same or close to the same as the chips, in that there will be sediment because of the powdered dye.
