Leesters
Okay, this is the most basic of questions. You might think I'm asking what I'm doing wrong. Oh no no no.How in the heck do you even do these things? I've seen pictures of they colors all... well... marbled, I guess is the best way to say this.I can't find any step by steps on the How-To sites. I really don't get it.So, I'm picking brains.Link to a step by step procedure on making this mystery?
Jami
http://www.candletech.com/techniquesideas.htmHere are some step by steps on various types of candles you are referring to. I have been reading through them because I want to try my hand at pillars too.
grama
To make mottled candles I use the mottle wax and add steric. I use the IGI 1274 and add about 4 TBS steric per lb. hth
Pepperi
I just use mottled wax and that's it.
Candlelovr
I use 1274 also, 1 oz FO pp (the more FO, the better the mottle) and heat mold to 200 and pour at 195. Works great for me!
