This may help you out. Make sure you read lots about safety and how to's on making soap.. It is important to read all about lye safety! You will be addicted once you start doing cp. It looks like you have everything you need for this one from crafty1 AJ. there are a lot more simple ones in the recipe section, too. Good Luck

I got an easy one for ya. With a 2lb mold, it cant hold 2lbs of oils. The 2lbs also has to include the water and lye amount as well as the oils. So the safest thing to do is plug in 16oz total oil wight batch into the soapcalc.

http://www.soapcalc.com/calc/soapcalc.asp

Coconut (76 deg, solid) 25%

Grapeseed 18.75%

Lard 25%

Olive 31.25%

which totals to:

Coconut (76 deg, solid) 4oz

Grapeseed 3oz

Lard 4oz

Olive 5oz

Lye 2.25 (5% superfat discount)

water 6oz (26% lye concentration)

Soapcalc qualities:

Hardness 37

Cleansing 17

Condition 58

Bubbly lath. 17

Creamy lath. 20

Iodine 67

INS 146

Use an accurate electronic scale and follow Robins Tutorial:

The best thing to do is let it sit in the mold for a couple of days before you unmold it.
