macyboutique
I made a lip gloss this weekend, but it smelled just like apple cider vinegar. The recipe called for SAO, honey, flavoring and vitamin E. Wondering why it smelled like vinegar though. Anyone have one that they would love to share? TexasBrat
Could be the honey, I dislike anything honey. I made a whole batch of lipbalm using BCN's honey flavor oils and I about gagged and had to trash the whole batch.
macyboutique
It could have been...I was trying to make it thick but I think I will try to use the lava lip gloss recipe but without the food coloring.

maryann
I'm w/ TB and Nan- on the honey (even though I have all that honey powder). How did you end up liking it? I think I'm going to try it in a soap recipe to see how it behaves.
