Wick'n'Wax
I have a 325g packet of gel wax. How much FO in ml would I need to add to say 100g?
Wick'n'Wax
right, I've read its 3% which on 100g would be 3g. How can I measure/convert 3g to ml?
ladysj
Here ya go I found this site see if this does what you want it do. http://www.manuelsweb.com/metric_wt.htm
Wick'n'Wax
thanks for that.I've tried that one and a few others, but it won't do grams to mililitres, as ones weight the others liquid.I have kitchen scales but they aren't digital and anything less than 100g-ish won't even register.I've no idea how I'm going to work this out Just don't want things catching fire because of too much FO
Wick'n'Wax
right so far I've found:1 litre (1000cc) = 1kgso 1000g = 1000ml100g = 100ml3% of 100g = 3mlso literally 100g is 3ml of oil.That seems far to simple, surely?boy, have I got a headache
DonnaP
Yes doing conversions can give you a big headache. It did me. Sometimes you just have to start from scratch and go about it in a different way. You can not find a conversion chart that will convert weight to volume. That is like trying to figure out how to make a cherry pie out of apples. So how many apples do i need to use to make 8 ounces of cherries...its the same question.BillJacksonville Fla
