IndyGirl
What makes a candle rustic? LOL! I know this is a dumb question! But, consider this from a person who only does containers!
Meredith_D
The frosty look from pouring cool makes it rustic. Check out the gallery, there are loads of them.
IndyGirl
That's what I thought! I'm not so dumb after all! Yeah!!!!!! I tried a pillar a couple of weeks ago and must have poured it too cools and it was rough instead of smooth........so I guess I poured a RUSTIC!!!!!! Crafty1_AJ
To me, rustics are like the "distressed" furniture of the candle world. At least mine are! They have a whitish "frosted" look on the outside. Not smooth & shiny.Yes, if you poured cool, it probably did come out looking rustic. But what I can't figure out is......how do they get the rustics with different colors that look like waves and such? I have seen some in the gallery that are dark and light in the same color that look like waves on the outside. Beautiful. I have tried this, but not much success. Scented
Might want to tackle layers before others things lol. The other comes from playing in the wax ... literally ... or crafty splashing.
