CountryCreekCandles
Hi Everyone, When should I put the lids on my jars? Is it as soon as the wax hardens?
Crafty1_AJ
I pour one day, then trim the wicks, label, and lid them the next.

Candlebuddy
I wait a few hours until the wax is hard. If I pour in the morning, I can put the lid on in the evening. If I pour at night, I wait until the next morning.
kidsngarden
Do you glue the two piece lids together? If so what works best? Thanks,Bethany
Candlebuddy
I don't use the 2-piece lids for candles, but I do use them for other projects. To glue them, I use household silicone that I buy from Walmart. It's in the paint dept. and costs about $2-3 per tube.
LaurieF
No it's not just an extra step it's an extra project. And it can be messy and look bad. There is no reason at all to glue together.
