snow
Ok, I just got my slab of 6228 and I want to try a pillar. But it doesn't say anything about melt point or pouring temp. Can anyone please tell me what is a good pour temp for this wax? I've never used it b4. Now I'm dying to get busy with it. But since I only got 1 slab, I don't want to waste to much, any users out there willing to offer a little advice? Thanks much, Dee
wickedwanda
sorry dont know a thing about 6228, but i often check the website of supplier and it usually has that kind of info where the wax is located on site. also check to the left of this site -techniques and ideas and/or basic instructions.i often find that helpful..good luck and dont forget to post pics when done
jillgunter
I looked on Lonestars website and it said to pour at 170 to 180. I havent used it before. Most pillar waxs in paraffin, generally are in that range. Good luck! Let us know how it goes.
