scentlady
I was making a photo hurricane last night and as I set the mold into the water bath I somehow got water into the wax. So when I dumped out the wax I used another container, not the presto pot. Will this wax be ok to reuse or should I just toss it.
sugarysweet95
You have to be very careful when you have water in the wax, but yes, you can still reuse it, thought it's a bit of pain! What i do is i melt the wax and pour it quite thinly in a baking tray. The water will generally sink to the bottom and seperate out from the wax. When the wax sets, you can remove it from the tray and the water should stay in the tray. Just to be on the safe side, i usually break up the wax then into little pieces and leave on kitchen towel overnight to dry, just to make sure there's no little droplets anywhere. It's always worked for me!
leashaann
IF you melt the wax, the water will stay on bottom. I freaked out over water in a new box of wax that I bought and got tons of advice on hear. Some said boil it out but that was time consuming. I just melted it in my pot and carefully poured the wax out, leaving the water at the bottom of the pot.
Scented
Yep just pour it out into something and the water should sink to the bottom. However, be careful with wax and water. You'll want to be sure you got all the water out. If it's a small amount, I would just dump it.
