MsDammit
Is there anywhere to get this locally? I get my lye at Lowes and was hoping since I only need a little that I could find it somewhere local as well.
LindaColo
You might be able to get it locally at a chemical supply company. Mine has it but you have to buy something like 50 pounds. Also, leather tanners might have a supply of potassium hydroxide. I bought some online from a tanner and only had to get 5 pounds. However, with shipping and handling, it was around $30. charmiesonline
I don't make soap, so I really don't know if this is what you are looking for. I came across site by accident a few weeks back. It has what you are looking for, but I dont know about the price. Like I said, I never made soap, but thought I'd share the site. http://thesoapdish.com/honeypowder.htmIt says honey powder, but if you scroll down, you will see KOH.
