islandgirl
Do any of you sell your Fo's for simmer pots? Do you mix it with anything or sell it straight. Is FO's straight from our bottles safe to put in a 15w simmer pot?TIAAll of a sudden I am getting tons of request for Fo's for simmering pots.. Scented
I don't do it. Personally think you should look at a perfumer's oil or something else that's designed for those kind of things. Straight FO will catch fire if you reach its flash point under heat.
topofmurrayhill
Isn't that the same as a tart burner? We normally mix FO with wax for that purpose. I suppose there are other things you could mix it with - maybe some kind of carrier oil? Anyway you would want to do that because the customer sometimes get alarmed when it bursts into flames, though personally I get a kick out iof it.
