mkpk Posted February 4, 2007 Share Posted February 4, 2007 Hi everyone! I'm a newbie and am having trouble getting a good hot throw with my soy pillars. I use ecosoy pillar wax and cd20 (3" dia mold). I have been using 1 oz per 1 lb of wax. The cold throw is great, but hardly any hot throw. How can this be? My containers seem to be fine for the most part - different scents, different results. Should I add more fragrance to my pillar wax? hotmama Posted February 4, 2007 Share Posted February 4, 2007 Did you let the candle cure for a couple of days before lighting it? Also, using about 1% beeswax in with the soy seems to help with the throw.
