sockmonkey
Just wondering what essential oil everybody uses most frequently and why.Do you believe in the benefits of EO's--such as aromatherapy or anti-bacterial properties, or do you just like the way they smell? mountainmadness
Lavender- smells great, very popular, very soothing.Peppermint or Spearmint- uplifting, smells great, very popular amoungst male customers.Rosemary- I use this in my shampoo bar. Very clean smelling, good for the hair.Tea Tree- Dog Shampoo bar. Is supposed to help troubled skin and is a good deterent for bugs.Mind you, I make no claims when I sell products. These are just the decisions that I have made after EO research. Lavender, by far, is the most requested EO soap that I have.HTH.Jennifer
prairieannie
I use Peppermint the most because it's such a fabulous mixer, followed closely by Spearmint, Rosemary, Lavender and Patchouli. Yep, I'm a believer in their properties!

heirloomoriginals
I have only used Lavendar in soap, but have used Spearmint in foot products. This spring I am planning on making a Gardeners Bar of soap that has sweet orange, lemon, and possibly lime. I would also like to try cedar, eventually!Steph

George
I Think you should mix Lavender and Orange. That will confuse many.
eugenia
I Think you should mix Lavender and Orange. That will confuse many.I had a Lavender Tangerine FO that was great in body products. Lavender plays nicely with a ton of others, some surprising, as does peppermint.

Luci
The pre-buy at www.soapersupplies.com is ending tomorrow, and I am interested in a couple of eo's. Still have a lot to learn about eo's, but does anyone have any comments on the rose geranium? I am curious as to whether it is really effective with menopause symptoms and in what applications. leashaann
My friend has a pretty nasty spider bite that is responding to EO's. The doc quoted $120 just to walk through the door. So a friend of hers recommended EO's so she figured why not just try it.
